I want to apply a credit card but i am a self employed and my Agency does not want me to use their phone number for any purposes. What shouild i do?

I apply for credit cards and have trouble because of no bank account. Can I get good credit cards without a bank account? What can i do
Answer:
Credit cards for bad credit often require bank deposits - they are called secured credit cards. If you have good credit (fair, poor) you can get an unsecured credit card - thus, you won't have to make and account. AS you haven't mentioned your credit score, I can't advise you anything definite.

How can I get credit card co.s to reduce my interest rate in a hardship situation (i.e. loss of income due to illness) while my accounts are still current & my credit is good? (The system seems to be set up to make people fail, since I keep hearing they won't work with you until you are behind in payments & the damage is already done to your credit rating then!)

I am very sorry for your situation.
You see, there are some factors in getting your interest rate lowered.
For example, if there are no late payments on your credit report and your credit rating is good. If your debt-to-income ratio is not high, and you do not carry a huge balance on your credit card. And, surely, if you send more than the minimum payment each month. These are only some, but very important facts. The reason is that the bank cannot risk.
Unfortunately, if for some reason your creditors do not agree to lower your rate, it could not be helped.

Applied Card Bank has sent me an Acceptance Certificate and the on line address www,thecardiwant.com. Upon entering that address, I was sent to this web sight but cannot find their card or the area where I am to enter the Activation Number.

I've checked it and I only was redirected to this address https://onlineacceptance.appliedcardbank.com/home.do which is the page where you can activate your card. Try again, please.

can oyu show me what type of credit card accepts a application without a checking account?

If you have a bad credit history, the bank can allow you only a secured credit card what means you are to secure your credit with a deposit. If your credit history is good or excellent, you will qualify for an unsecured credit card.

i never had a credit card before and i dont have a bank account how can i get my first credit card?

The best and most common decision is to apply for a secured credit card which you can find in our bad/no credit card deals section. For that you should make a deposit to establish a bank account, which will be equal to your credit limit. It's the only way to start a good credit.

If someone uses your personal identifying information to get a credit card, it is called Identity Theft. If you are really exposed to identity theft, do not panic. First of all, file a police statement. After that contact your creditor immediately. Close out your damaged accounts. Make a request to your creditor(s) to mark your accounts as "closed at the consumer’s request". Discontinue overdue checks payment and demand new ATM cards. Then change your passwords or PINs. Contact the 3 major credit reporting bureaus. Mark a "Fraud Alert" and a "victim’s statement" in your file. Ask your creditor(s) to contact you before they open new accounts under your name. Demand a free copy of your credit report. You can as well call the Federal Trade Commission (or FTC) They provide a hotline for identity theft victims. You can file your complaints and obtain information to improve yout credit. Correcting your credit, make sure you have copies of all receipts for expenses kept, letters written, or records of telephone calls made.
