Excellent credit means, as you are right to suppose, high score - 750-850 points. It means you never missed your payments, you had rather many cards with considerable credit lines and you never comitted a delinquency. If my credit score is 614 and I am a college student attending 10hrs of college credit this semester, what type of card should I apply for ?
Answer:
According to the amount of points you have, your score is still bad, so you may be denied if you apply for an unsecured card. If it is your first time to apply for a credit card, choose the secured one, if not - you can possibly be approved for unsecured card.
