What is considered excellent, good, fair, poor and no credit rating?
Answer:
Your credit rating is your ability to pay. The higher the risk you don't, the less credit score you have. Excellent Credit Score is considered to be 750-850 (when you pay off your bills regularly), Good Credit Score - 660-749, Fair Credit - 620-659, Bad/Poor Credit - 350-619 (e.g. after bankruptcy) and No Credit - 349-0(for people with no credit history, for example, students).
The rates are lower when you have an excellent credit. The credit limit grows along with your credit score.
At our site you can choose a credit card for any credit history! Both secured and unsecured credit card deals are waiting for you.
Good luck,

Your web site says you have credit card deals for foreign residents such as Canadian residents. I would like to know what cards with what options are available. I am interested *only* in US based credit cards, since I already have a Canadian credit card but currently find myself unable, for example, to make some online purchases from retailers that require a US card. I am a Canadian resident though I do have a valid US mailing address. I do not have a US credit history but I have an extensive and I believe flawless Canadian credit history, including with credit cards. I may be opening a US bank account soon as well, a US subsidiary of a Candian bank, if that helps.
Answer:
Our Canadian credit cards from American Express are issued in Canada. So if you look for credit cards issued in the USA, there are such at our site. But probably you will have to establish an American credit history and apply for a secured credit card. Opening a US account isn't a bad idea.

When I applied on-line for a card, it said I was approved and gave me a credit limit. I thought that it took up to a month of review to get credit. Was I really approved? Also, you list a credit score of over 650 as good. I thought most lenders considered a score over 800 as good. What is really a good score?
Answer:
Maybe you applied for a credit card with instant approval, that's why you received this information. A little later you will receive your card. As for credit score numeric value, it can vary to some extent in different agencies, but generally a score over 800 is excellent (which is very close to good) and under 749 is good.

Can I activate my card on line?
Answer:
it is up to the bank to define the way how you can activate your card - by phone, by mail or via Internet. So pay your attention to the terms and conditions of the card you apply for.

i keep getting rejected for credit cards. i have a department credit card. i don\'t have bad credit but can\'t get any credit cards to raise my credit score. e mail address vctdemo@aol.com
Answer:
Perhaps, you've been trying to get the cards 'too good' for you, so you received denials because your score wasn't enough for the card you wanted. you should know your score for sure and apply for cards definitely for your score. It is the only way to improve your credit.

WHICH CARD IS THE BEST CARD FOR ME?
Answer:
When you get your credt report, you can see your score could vary by as much as 20 to 30 points from one company to another, so it's important to know which measure your lender is using. Each bureau may also have a slightly different version of your credit report, which could also affect your score.
