And, I must admit, American Express kept all their promises to take care of this magic moment in our life with all its specific needs and interests.
That's not all. Competing with the typical credit card products from American Express, the Knot card introduces a gainful bonus points program. We were happy to learn, after we had saved a considerable amount of money at certain merchants, that we could apply for fee-free enrollment into the Membership Rewards Option program from American Express.
Using the program, the newlyweds are entitled to earn valuable points which they can redeem for wedding shopping and even honeymoon-related rewards.
Aren't all these benefits a good motivation for young couples to apply for the Knot credit card? American express didn't miscalculate the great effect of this fee-free consumer credit card aimed at the young demographic, that's for sure.
There's still one drawback about this credit card which is also true to all the other AmEx cards - it's the requirement to have a good credit history and be utterly creditworthy.
Thus, I personally do not think that the guys from American Express will significantly boost their sales through Knot credit card deals. But they will definitely extend their credit card market among young people.
