Topic: Credit Rating Matters

To my utter regret in december 2006 I applied for one of those bad credit /credit improving credit cards I received my crdit card in january2007 from 660 visa . I was given a $300.oo so called credit limit with $250.00 in out rageous fees and a $50.00 initial available balance which I did use, well to make a long story short, I called my cardholder and told them that I would like to pay the $130.00 that is due and to close my account that I donot want the high priced card because there is no grace period whenyou are late and the late fee of $35.00 is exorbitant they closed my account at my request today but said I will still owe and have to pay the membershipfees and that they will continue to bill and charge rates including interest and other fees on this closed account. I really feel taken to the cleaners, robbed what can I do to get out of this trap. desperate for help.
Unfortunately, we can't help you in this situation, as our site's job is collecting the latest information about the best credit card deals and help the clients to choose the best credit card and file the appropriate credit card application. We are not credit card issuers and don't deal with interests, fees and credit accounts. We can only advise you to search for the necessary information about closed accounts in the Internet. To tell the truth, in such a complicated situation you need advice of a professional. So it is better to contact your lawyer and consult him to clear out all the moments, which worry you, and take certain measures, if necessary.
I RECEIVED OFFER IN MAIL I SENT THE OFFER BACK AND A CHECK FOR FOURTY DOLLARS AS REQUESTED I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CARD OR ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THE CARD WHO DO I NEED TO CONTACT AS FAR AS STATUS OF THE CARD BECAUSE THE PAYMENT DID COME OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT OR IF POSSIBLE CAN YOU TELL ME IF MY CARD HAS BEEN SENT THANK YOU
Well, first of all you should know the fact that you should NEVER pay any charges or fees for the credit card until you receive it and activate it. If you haven't received any reply and seem to wait for very long, you should act. First of all, try to find the issuer of the credit card, maybe using the information given in the letters you received. If it fails, you should think of a legal recourse, as you evidently have been cheated by a shady company. We unfortunately can not help you in any way, as we just represent bank credit card offers and help customers to get a sense of them.
i have a bed credit what cc i can a have

The choice of the right card will mostly depend on your card habits, i.e. whether you tend to carry a balance or pay it in full every month. If you are a "transactor", a user who pays off the balance in full each month, you may consider Capital One Standard Platinum. The point is that this card comes with no annual fee but its APR is pretty high. Being a transactor, you can avoid hefty interest payments, and thus make the most of this card. In addition it's worth saying that this Capital One card requires limited credit history, so the chances are you'll be approved.

If you are a "revolver", the one who carries the balance from month to month, you'd better select the card with low or moderate interest rates. Platinum and Platinum - Visa by Capital One can be a good choice. These cards come with a 0% promo APR on purchases, plus low ongoing interest rates on purchases and balance transfers and the annual fee is quite fair.

Check through these plastic money offers, compare their features, and make your choice.

is their a credit card i can get without a bank account. i have no credit trying to build some.

Yes, such credit deals do exist. However, when applying for an unsecured card, a card that requires no banking account, you should realize that you are a high risk for lenders. Fortunately enough, some companies offer specially designed credit products for customers with limited credit history and you have all the chances to qualify for these cards.

Platinum – Visa by Capital One is one of the top-rated plastics for limited credit history. It has a really low APR, 0% promo rates on purchases and a fair annual fee.

Another Capital One card that can suit your needs is Capital One Classic Platinum. It comes with a moderate APR and zero interest rates, plus a low annual fee.

If you plan to pay off your balance in full every month, Capital One Standard Platinum will be the right pick for you. This card has no annual fee, plus comes with a 0% intro APR on purchases.

These cards require no banking account, and what's more importantly, they're issued for people who just like you want to establish good credit.
