Topic: Better Bank Rates Along with Balance Transfers

I am looking for a credit card with balance transfer with bad credit
Unfortunately, banks that we cooperate with offer balance transfer only to people with good and excellent credit history. But you may try to qualify for a credit that needs some improvement or limited credit and apply for a Capital One Standard Platinum Card. It offers 19.3% ongoing APR on balance transfers with 27.65% default APR.
I'm looking for a credit card that will allow me to transfer a balance, has a 0% promotional rate, and doesn't have a balance transfer fee. Do you know of any cards like that? If not, I might still be interested in a card even if it has a balance transfer fee. I had a question though. If the fee is, for example, $75...What will the interest rate be on the fee itself? In other words, is it a "cash advance" with a really high 20% rate or something? So this would mean that I would have to make the monthly minimum payment amount PLUS interest on the balance transfer fee amount, right? Also, I've heard that any payments I make go to the lowest interest rate amount on my credit card. So even though I was making the monthly payment amounts interest would be compounding on the $75 balance transfer fee and none of my payments would reduce that amount. Please let me know if that's a correct assessment of the way credit card fees work...I need your advice. Thanks ahead of time, Blair
A balance transfer fee is a one-time fee charged for transferring a balance from one card to another. Now most lenders charge 3% of the amount transferred. These fees may be capped, like $75 or $90 maximum, or uncapped, meaning that you will pay 3% of the balance transferred with no maximum. In other words, if you plan transferring $10,000, you will pay $300 as a balance transfer fee. So, if your high-rate balance is big, it makes sense to choose the card with a capped balance transfer fee. Anyway, you've got a better choice, i.e. cards with no balance transfer fee.Clear from American Express is a unique card as it comes with no credit fees, and a balance transfer fee is no exception. The thing is, this card gives a 0% introductory APR on purchases, and a low fixed APR on balance transfers. If your balance is big enough, you have all the chances to benefit from this card, as it's more convenient to pay off your heavy balance with a low fixed rate balance transfer card.More Card and More Card - Clear by Discover can also be a smart choice for you. First and foremost, these cards give 0% rates on balance transfers for 12 months, and you will be charged a capped balance transfer fee of $75 maximum. All the more so, these cards have no annual fee, so you will have no unnecessary charges associated with credit maintenance. Review these options and make your choice depending on the amount of your balance. If you know for sure that you can pay off the entire balance within the introductory period, choose the cards that give you a 0% intro APR. If your debts are too heavy, a low fixed rate card with no fees will be the right choice.
I\'m looking for a card for balance transfer of a Discover and Visa card. I have fair credit. Can you help?

If you want to benefit from transferring your balance onto a new card, you need to have good credit. All best buy balance transfer cards are designed for good and excellent credit history.

As for fair plastics that come with a low ongoing APR on balance transfers, they do exist. You may consider Platinum and Platinum - Visa by Capital One. They both come with a low APR on purchases and balance transfers. If you're carrying a heavy balance on a high-rate card, one of these Capital One cards will be a smart choice. Another advantage of these credit offers is that they come with no balance transfer fees. It means you need to pay nothing for transferring your balance from one card to another.

You may also review Classic Platinum by Capital One. Although this plastic comes with a bit higher APR compared with the above-mentioned offers, it has a lower annual fee, plus no balance transfer fees. So, it can be a good option for a borrower with fair credit.
